VILLAGE TREASURE HOUSE celebrates grants total of $548,500 provided to local community services.

Residents of Glenview, Golf, Northfield, Winnetka, Northbrook and a few of the surrounding communities have figured out how to be green and support those who need the most.  Glenview’s Village Treasure House is grateful to all that help and support of this wonderful non-for profit organization.  Village Treasure House volunteers earn money for substantial grants to organizations providing service to “woman and children in crisis” within our local neighborhoods.  These grants are funded by the profits from selling consigned and donated pre-owned furniture, antiques and decorator items.  VTH features the best in home furnishings and accessories.  It is an easy on the eyes and spirit kind of place.  High quality -- Great bargains – Good Causes.   Bargains get even better as prices are reduced every 30 days by 15%.  Consignment items are displayed for 90 days.

Donations of furniture, china, crystal, lamps, paintings and collectibles in good condition are accepted any time, and tax letters are provided.  VTH is a 501(c)(3) Tax-Exempt Organization.   If it is too good to just give it away, Consign It!  A 50-50 split.  Consignment is by appointment only at the shop or in the home for larger items.

Not only does the Treasure House offer a pleasurable shopping environment, the volunteers and staff are always happy to offer assistance and friendly service.

Every member on the VTH team is working to help further the lives of people in need.  Volunteers here make a difference!   The shop is one of Glenview’s best shopping secrets.  Since opening in Glenview in 1998, the Village Treasure House has funded $548,000 in charitable grants.

Village Treasure House is hosting a celebration party September 16th for all of those who have contributed to their success in supporting Glenview community needs.  This includes recognizing consignors, volunteers, customers, press, donors and angels.  Please help support this community acknowledgement of good, by purchasing a 500K raffle ticket at: Village Treasure House 1825 Glenview Rd.
